Good points, but still an unecessary policy change -- at least on the girls side! It appears THAT US National team does well! Very Happy
And it's not all about the top players...there are the B+, B, B- players that are too good for Rec but never going to go to college on a soccer scholarship or make a top team that will be impacted negatively by this. Again, I see much of what you say and hopefully this will all end up fine. I'm honestly more worried about mixing different grades together on teams as cohesion will be reduced and kids might grow up just a little faster than was necessary...Like you said, nothing to do about it now, anyway!

Like I said before... The people that are complaining are either:
A.) Mad they are splitting up their multiple state championship glory team.
B.) A late in the year birthday.
C.) Lucky to be on the team they are on already and know that next year they won't make a really good team like they are on now...
