So you can dismount your high horse.

I don't mind a aggressive team, but hopefully u guys are learning skills as well. By the time these girls are 12 and 13 they will all be physical so hopefully that's not all your learning up north. It's going to be a great game this weekend.

I've seen OFC play as NOKC, in 3v3, and as OFC in 11v11. These games have been in OKC and Tulsa. They play extremely physical, and skirt the line with playing dirty. However, I won't say they are a dirty team because that infers there is intent. I don't believe that these girls come out with the intention to hurt anyone. I think they just play a reckless at times by having a tendency to come in hard and late on challenges. But they are a good team that will only get better in time.

Are any teams from the west side playing in blitz Tourney? I believe Winters, Kitterman and obviously Blitz are.

Ofc04dad- how come yall don't play games at esc? Nokc fields are not very well maintained and are on top of a plateau so everytime the ball goes out it takes 5 min to retrieve it, aslo I went up there and measured the field and it was not reg.

Cosmos04- why I have Wintets above OFC:

That's the main issue with the OFC vs Winters game the fouling & poor officials. Overly aggressive games can be put in check by carding & calling it both ways.... That forces teams to get back to the game at hand SOCCER!

I'd like to see the rematch with OFC & Winters called both ways... Unlike the first game was.

Bring your ice packs to your OFC game you'll need it if they continue their over zealous soccer antics.
here's hoping the refs call it both ways... For your sake
This is completely off topic:
IMO soccer is a risky sport for your DD at the competitive level & when you have a team that crosses that playing dirty or Rugby line (whatever semantics you choose) it puts your DD & mine at risk for very serious injury.

I want my DD's team to win, of course we all do! But, I want her team to will by soccer skill & smarts not by a continued stream of dirty fouling.

Went back and tried to do a little forum research and it appears the Winters parents seem to be the only ones that want to bash OFC for being "thugs" and "playing dirty", everyone else (including me) seems to agree that they are very physical and rough but not dirty players.

Maybe that 0-2 record against them and the failure to score in either game has something to do with your feelings.

Apparently soccershmuck you can't read very well because several posts from other people have said the same thing . I've came to the conclusion that you are another one of those TSC Winter haters. So be it you have your opinion to bad it's so fn bias. The truth is in the scoring... Blitz 2-0 over blitz. Both goals off of penalties. Enough said

No I am pretty sure you are the only one that called them"thugs".
The real number you should be concerned with is 0-2. Your teams record against them!
No hater here (maybe instigator) but just calling it how it is.

How's everyone feel now about the rankings?

1. Kitterman TSC
2. Winters TSC
3. Blitz
4. SLSC
5. OFC
6. Arsenal
7. Blitz Navy
8. Clinton

Or, as I suspect, too early to tell? At this point in time, I would probably go with this line-up. The Blitz tournament will sort some of this out, I suspect.

1. Winters/ Blitz/ Kitterman
2. South Lakes
3. OFC

With only 3 matches so far kitterman hasn't played enough OPL games to be declared the first place team IMO. The top 3 teams are very close to each other and can beat each other or tie on any given day.

IMO winters is not as good as u guys think, yes they beat us but we did not show up to play. Two out of three of there goals came from keeper punting the ball three quarters of the field, our defenders are not use to that but now they know that girl can punt the snot out of the ball, lol. Yes we played blitz and ofc and beat them both and winters beat us but just think ofc and blitz are to fast and skilled for winters, like I said it's just my option

Wake up, your dreaming!

You are letting your games against Clinton and Blitz Navy go to your head.

If you just went by oranges to oranges:

1. Kitterman 1-1-0
2. Winters 2-1 (h2h tiebreaker over SLSC)
3. SLSC 2-1
4. OFC 1-1-2
5. Blitz 1-3

Some of these teams "matchup well with another" so basing on one game would be difficult.

Yes, head to head match-ups matter. I'll be honest, I didn't think SLSC would beat OFC, but obviously they did! Team vs team, there is often a position mis-match, etc... that can make a difference. Especially at 10 year old level! By the end of November/ mid December ther'll have been enough games played that we'll all have a pretty good idea where things stand. Come May, it'll be very interesting as people use that information to make decisions as to whether or not to move to new teams. Before all that, however, there is the Blitz tournament, where hopefully alot of these teams show up and some of this is sorted out....
